Autoresponder Tour Page 4Intro: How to import messages, custom and demographic questions across into another autoresponder system and how to add view edit and change the custom fields that you can ask your subscribers How to copy messages from another autoresponderIf the system admin or someone on this system has sent you the autoresponder name and the password, you can copy their messages, demographics and custom questions to your autoresponder. If anyone has granted copy-permission on their messages their autoresponder name will appear in a drop down box. Select the autoresponder to copy the data from and enter the password that was given to you. Click the copy button to copy the data to your autoresponder. How to View/Edit/Add Custom Fields to ask questions to your subscribersTo setup or edit the Custom Questions click on the View/Add/Edit Custom Fields option in the in the Message Management section of the Main Menu. Use this option to ask open ended questions to your subscribers by using the form code for this autoresponder, you can then send mail based on the answers they gave to each question. The custom fields screen shows you the number of Custom Questions you are allowed and the ones that have been setup. To setup or edit a custom Question click on the Q&A link. Enter the question you want to ask and click the save button. The system will confirm your Custom Question has been saved. You can go back to setup more questions by clicking the 'Back to Custom Q&A Manager' link or return to the main menu. You can now use the questions you set up by generating the form code for your autoresponder. |
