Intro: How to mail your subscribers according to their answers to the demographic questions you asked them and how to setup scheduled mailings to mail out your marketing message or newsletter while you are away.

Mail by demographic question

You can send email to your subscribers based on the demographic questions you asked them and the answers they gave to the questions. To do this click on Mail By Demographics in the Mail Management section of the main menu screen. Now select the Demographic question you want to base your email on and the answer, the email will be sent to all those that answered the question with the answer you selected. Click continue and enter the subject line and the message body in the spaces provided. Note the Click Here link, this will show you all the personalisation tags you can use in the subject and the message body. Now enter the subject line and the message you want to send and select to send as plain text or HTML, remember if you send an HTML email you must code your message like a web page. Now select to send this message as a Plain text email or an HTML email. Then click the Mail Now button.

Setup scheduled mailings

If your account supports the scheduled mailing feature then you can set up a mailing to go out to your subscribers on the date you choose. To do this click on the Add Scheduled Mailing link in the Mail Management section of the Main Menu. Select the date you want this mailing to go out on, enter the subject line and the message body in the spaces provided. Note the Click Here link, this will give you a list of the personalisation tags you can use in the subject line and the body of the email. Select to send this mailing as Plain text or HTML, if you select to send as HTML you must code your message like a webpage. Then click the save button to confirm and schedule the message.
